I would like to learn German as my boyfriend is a native German and I would like to be able to communicate with his family. There also is a possibility for me to move to Germany in the next few years, in which case I would need to know the language in order to find employment.
I have taken one year of beginner's German at the local community college. I feel that I have some skills, but do not feel comfortable conversing in German. I also feel that I did not learn very much vocabulary.
I would like to improve upon my understanding of the different tenses of German. I would also like to work on conversation and vocabulary.
I would like to have a day a week that I could work with an instructor at least. I had class twice a week and that worked out well, but was hectic with my schedule as I work full time and have other commitments.
I am looking for a teacher that is very knowledgeable and approachable. I would like to be able to feel comfortable with the individual I am working with and confident that they know what they are doing. I would prefer a native speaker, but it is not necessary.

My father is Iranian, and i admire the culture and language. I understand Farsi, but speaking tends to be my weakness. I would love to be able to hold a conversation with my family and other Iranians. I want to feel confident and proud to be able to say i fully understand the language. i would like a teacher who will push me, and correct me if i'm wrong. I have a tendency to tell people that I understand, when I really dont feel confident, so it would be very nice if the teacher can be encouraging and make sure before the lesson is done that I am fully confident that i learned something. I have plenty of free time for the next couple of months, so I am able to dedicate as much time is needed to learn Farsi.

I am an American and have just married an Israeli man and am desperately trying to learn Hebrew to connect with him and his friends, but am having a very hard time. I have been learning via the Ulpan method home-study for two months but am on the beginner level still. I would like to spend 2-3 hours a day stydying Hebrew. Thank you so much.

I am interested in learning sign language, because I have always had an interest in learning the language since I was young, and I took a couple classes in college. When I was in college, I was surrounded by the Deaf community, but I was not advanced enough to communicate well. I love the language, because it is very expressive, and I believe it will help me with guests I serve in my career field. I need help with grammar and conversation. I would consider myself a beginner, and I am very dedicated to learning the language, so I would be willing to devote a lot of time to learning the language. In a teacher, I would want someone who is patient, because I truly want to learn the language, and I do not want to breeze by the lessons.
