Hello,
My name is Suresh.
I am Indian living in Japan from past 9 Years.
I cleared JLPT Level-2.
I would like to study Chinese from start. I am ZERO in Chinese as of now.
But somehow I fleed to study atleast basics of this language.
There is no urgent business requirement as such for me to learn but I suppose there will be in future.
I would like to have a one to one lesson either at/Near Kawasaki station or a nearer place mutually acceptable on weekends.
Ti ming can be discussed.

I am interested in learning some basic mandarin as I have visited and hope to go again to Beijing with my work. I would like to know a little more about rates and possible hours that Tracy might be available as there may be a group of us at work that would be interested in studying together. We are a group of teachers that may have an opportunity to teach in china. We are provided with translation in china so just want basic conversationa l mandarin in order to be friendly while we are there.
I particulary want help with pronounciatio n especially the tones and am looking for a flexible teacher who can have some fun with my or our struggles. The ideal would be one lesson a week at 4pm at our school in LaSalle(south eastern Montreal) if possible. Some of our group are French first language.

I currently have no knowledge of Mandarin; however, I am motivated to learn for the following reasons:
1.) My daughter is currently learning Mandarin. She was born in the States; however, her mother's side of the family is from Taiwan and speaks primarily Madarin. I would like to help her learn and to learn as well.
2.) I would like to eventually use the Mandarin language in business. I am currently in the accounting/fi nance field and believe that Mandarin will become more and more important within the next 5-10 years.
I would prefer to meet either 2 or 3 times per week depending on the cost and location availability.
