hi my name is nardine i am a palestinian mother for 3 children:8,7, and 4 years old.WE came to canada four years ago and since then the kids speak nothing but english i speak arabic at home and they understand but of couse this is not enough ,it is very important to know how to read and write arabic.

i am learning the language because of my great interest in the Japanese culture. I am an novice in all aspects of the language, however, i have started some independent studying and know a few basic words and greetings. i also began to memorize and work on the hiragana alphabet but that is all as of now. i would like to work on all aspects such as grammar and conversation and what the tutor deems worthy of learning. i hope to dedicate two hours a week if not more in a near future, and put some hours of independent study as well. My short term goal is being able to read(manga) and converse with decency and for a long term goal, i would wish to visit the country some day and have a certain knowledge of the language. the qualities i am looking at a teacher are: a certain flexibility in schedule, patience,uses friendly teaching methods, understanding and is not afraid to give a little homework!
