I am seeking German lessons so that I may have proficiency if not mastery of the language. Since I am planning on going to graduate school, I need to know at least one modern language and since I studied German in high school and college, I would like to continue learning it. I consider myself to be at the intermediate level because I took two years of German in college, but my skills have deteriorated since I graduated. I would like to focus on grammar and conversation; I was never a very good speaker, and I'd like to improve that. Each week I'd like to have two or three sixty minute sessions. My tutor must meet me face to face, preferably at my apartment. I'd like someone patient and talkative, who has had experience tutoring in the past and who can tell me what resources I ought to use in studying German.
