i have been attempting to self teach myself the language for a number of years now along with my best friend. however, we have found it to be quite difficult without an instructor.
i have taken the lowest of the JLPT but it has been about 3 years since then and i went a period of time where i was not keeping up with my studies due to work. i have recently picked up the books again and have found that even going as long as i have with no studying, i can still comprehend a lot of it.
im really looking to get the same teacher i had before but it has been about 1-2 years since ive spoken to them and have yet to get a response from her. of course i have no idea just how busy she is now a days.
