I am a retired special needs teacher from the UK, currently living with family in Ridgeways, Nairobi. I am currently working voluntarily with an organisation that supports projects for children with special needs. Most of the mothers and children I meet in these projects do not speak English well and I would like to be able to converse with them in Swahili. I would like to be able to have lessons for one or two hours per week, preferably in a location near to where I live, as transport is a difficulty for my household.

I am learning Spanish for career advancement and also I would love to know more about the culture and the peoples (Spain and Latin America). While doing my postgraduate studies, I was introduced to Spanish, which I studied for two academic years for two hours per week. However, I forgot much of what I had learnt. My aim is to master Spanish, ideally attaining near native level.
