I am Korean, but I don't speak Korean very well, also I am in the military and I would like to understand and clearly speak to my parents about my day without getting confused on what I am trying to tell them. I know my alphabet and vowels and I can read it, but I won't understand it. I don't know how to form sentences, the right grammar, I want to have a regular conversation without having to use English. I want a teacher who can be patient with me... I really want to learn so I can visit my relatives in Korea someday and converse with them. I also can benefit learning Korean for my job. So in conclusion, Korean is my background and I want for myself to learn the Korean language and be proficient at it. Thank you for your time.

I'm interested in learning Korean just for fun. I really love the language and I'd enjoy being able to speak with a few korean friends that I have in korean. I also am planning to go to Korea in the future. I've studied the alphabet and I can identify the hangeul, but I have a lot of mistakes sometimes. I'd like to dedicate a fair amount of time to my language lessons and some qualities I'm looking for my teacher to have is patient, and very detailed.

I want to learn Korean to further my existing knowledge of the language. I have a general understanding of the language, but I would like to be an advanced speaker and writer. I do not know any Korean at all (not even the alphabet). I need to learn Korean at a fairly fast pace, as I am going to study abroad there for a year in a few months. Because I don't have anything to do during the summer, I am looking for a teacher that will be fairly intensive. I will study rigorously on my own time, as well!
