Beginner, have spent a lot of time in Afghnistan but always used a translator or spoke Qurannic Arabic. Would like to learn native tounge.
I would like to focus on conversationa l and reading skills and pick up a little Farsi.

I am a beginner, although I do know the alphabet. (I have studied Arabic for some time and also know some Farsi).
I have a longtime interest in Central Asia (as well as Iran and the Middle East).
I am pretty capable of learning grammar independently , but I need a teacher to develop a good pronunciation and conversationa l skills.
I would be able to study for an hour a day, at least.
I am very flexible in working with teachers who have many different approaches to teaching (and will provide references from other teachers I have had, if so desired).
