-My proficiency level in Japanese is at the beginner level. I would like to be able to converse in an office-relate d environment. The reason i am keen on learning this language is because i would like to move to Japan after completing my MBA. Also i am a big fan of Japanese television
-I would prefer weekend classes or as an alternative maybe 3-4 classes per week(depends on the lecturer really). This is because i am studying for my MBA as well and working.
-Th e qualities i would look for in a teacher would be knowledge of the subject, couple of tests, and etc.

I am a beginner, and would like to learn Japanese as I enjoy visiting Japan and have many friends there. I am also a Karate practioner and go to Japan often for practice. Language is a problem.
I'd like to learn conversations and reading and would dedicate as much time as possible to lessons.
I'd like my teacher to be dedicated and understanding some who would be able to help me if I need.

I have not started learning either language. I would like to learn these languages because I have always had a great interest in the Japanese and Korean language and culture. I have many other activities during the week so one hour a week alternating which language every second week is my plan. (Example: Every 1st & 3rd week of the month I would focus on Japanese than every 2nd and 4th week of the month I would focus on Korean.) I am looking for a teacher with great experience in either Japanese or Korean or both. One who is patient and polite and can teach clearly. And one preferably with some sort of teaching experience. I also expect to be using resources such as workbooks and such to gain the full learning experience.
