I was in French Immersion until the end of grade 4, then it was basic french lessons until grade 9, and I haven't really done much with it since. I want to expand my career opportunities as well as being able to converse with relatives in Quebec, Northern Ontario and New Brunswick without forcing them to speak English.
C onsider me a beginner because I can't even keep up with a conversation. I would like to learn to be able to have an intelligent conversation. Not necessarily big words, but enough to get my points across, or help make a business decision down the road.

Hello,
I took French in school for 10 years, however, I was not that interested, and really only learnt words.
I would like to speak French fluently.
I have a fear of speaking French, as I do not often understand what people are saying because of their accent, speed, etc. I learnt a lot on my own as well, so therefore, when people speak to me, I am not able to understand, because I would learn words individually, and not as they are said in a conversation. I would like to be able to hang out with my French speaking friends, and be able to speak to them in French. Therefore, I need to overcome my fear, and by doing this, I need to increase my vocab and my sentence making abilities.
I am looking for a tutor who genuinely wants to help me acheive my goals. Someone who understands where I struggle, and to help me through that.

I am a beginner in the french language, had some schooling in earlier years of public school and high-school but have lost all knowledge. I am interested in learning the language for travel and social purposes. Knowing french would benefit my future for advancement in a career orientated focus. I an a dedicated person looking to broaden my horizon. I live in Canada, and Canada is a multi-cultura l country and i enjoy interactions with new and exciting people. Being able to speak more than one language will get me farther in life than ever imagined. I am looking to study as often as possible, mostly on my own time but need a lot of guidance. I need a teacher who has patients, and that likes to have a good laugh. A sincere person looking to help one gain knowledge.
