I think French is a beautiful language, and I would like to travel so it would definately be helpful but the main reason for learning it is I plan to undertake work for humanitarian aid organisations in the near future as a registered nurse and, especially if I am posted in Africa, French is a language that will be necessary for me to know.
I have never had lessons in French before so I am a beginner. I want to know the basics, conversation etc, and then focus on learning medical and nursing related phrases to use in the field, such as are you in pain, where is it, etc.
I would like to have one or two lessons per week perhaps increasing if required.
I would like a teacher who is flexible with schedules as I work shifts so set days and times are hard for me to comply with. I have my roster usually around 2 weeks in advance.
I would like individual or group (3 people) sessions based on expense of the lessons. I look forward to hearing from prospective teachers.
