I am an english teacher in Sendai looking for a japanese tutor. I have a very basic understanding of japanese but i want to become as fluent as possible. I want to speak japanese because it will enrich my experience in Japan and it will also make me a much better english teacher to japanese students.I do not need help with grammar as I can study this on my own. Mainly I need help in just expressing myself in conversationa l Japanese so I will need my tutor to translate phrases and sentences that I want to say or use.I would like one lesson of 1 - 1.5 hrs a week to begin with.

The reason I want to learn Japanese is because I want to move to and work in Japan when I'm older and I'm very interested and really like the culture alot.
I think I could use improvement in every area.

I picked up some Japansese when I lived there for one year, but want to improve to be able to speak to Japanese people in my job. I would say I was a beginner, as I have never studied it, just learnt through talking. I don't want to learn written Japanese, I can read Hiragana and Katakana, and that is enough for now!
I would like to join group lessons so that it is also sociable. I would like one lesson a week, or two.
