Why I want to learn a foreign language is because I am Korean. I was adopted into the United States when I was Two years old. I just recently have found my birth family in Korean and would love to be able to communicate with them or be able to read emails that I recieve from them.
My proficiency level is a beginner.
I would like to learn all levels.
It is hard but I am willing to dedicate as much time as possible.
The qualities that I am seeking for my teacher to possess is patience.

I'm a student at NHCC, which doesn't offer Japanese language courses, so I'm looking for a tutor to help me improve my skills. I'm going to be majoring in Japanese Literature further on down the road, so I'm trying to get a solid foundation before I transfer to the University of MN.
Next summer, I'll be studying abroad in Beppu, Japan. I'd like to improve my skills to an intermediate level by the time I get there.
I'm looking for a tutor that can meet face to face, about once a week, until May 31st; my takeoff date.
