I'm interested in learning Korean just for fun. I really love the language and I'd enjoy being able to speak with a few korean friends that I have in korean. I also am planning to go to Korea in the future. I've studied the alphabet and I can identify the hangeul, but I have a lot of mistakes sometimes. I'd like to dedicate a fair amount of time to my language lessons and some qualities I'm looking for my teacher to have is patient, and very detailed.

I want to learn Korean to further my existing knowledge of the language. I have a general understanding of the language, but I would like to be an advanced speaker and writer. I particularly need improvement in my writing and grammar. I want to dedicate as much time as I can to learning Korean. I do not know any Korean at all (not even the alphabet). I need to learn Korean at a fairly fast pace, as I am going to study abroad there for a year in a few months. Because I don't have anything to do during the summer, I am looking for a teacher that will be fairly intensive. I will study rigorously on my own time, as well!
