Proficiency Level: I would consider myself to be in the intermediate level.
Why: Ever since I was a kid I found myself to be interested in learning different languages, although I did not consider it to be a career choice. I tried to learn and teach myself Japanese when I was 11 as lessons where very expensive back home. I took 3 years of spanish lessons here in Canada when I was in Senior High.
What: I would like my teacher to be motivating and carefree. This will help encourage me to move on and to the best I can.

Japanese: I am a beginner, the only classes I have taken was in the summer of 2008, when I attended a 7-week language immersion program in Tokyo.
Spa nish: I am an an upper intermediate, I can read with relative ease but have trouble in conversations .
My goal is to be multilingual in order to give myself an extra competitive edge when applying for medical school, and to expand my career options in the future.
I would like to spend 1-2 hours per week in lessons, but with the understanding that it would be second to my university classes.
I am looking for either a native speaker or someone who is certified as a language teacher.
