I took a year of japanese course while i was studying in the States, i could still read hiragana and know very very basic vocab. i'd like to start again is because i LOVE going shopping in Japan! about 5 years ago, i went there to see my brother when he was going to a language school there. i could sort of get by with my poor japanese plus a little of kanji and little bit of english. however, this year when i went back i just wasn't able to manage to speak as the way i could before. for me, the most area where i need to improve is daily conversation. ..etc. i'd like to spend about an hour 3 to 4 days in a week. as far as quality goes, i am sure all the teachers are well qualified since they are natives. personality is what i look for most. i want a female teacher, easy going, fun, and flexible time schedule. becuase every 1 or 2 months i travel back to taiwan for a week to see family. so having flexible schedule is important to me
