I'm trying to learn how to speak Japanese and Korean. Right now we have Japanese in our school which has really only taught us how to write hiragana and katakana. The teacher has not done a good job with teaching us phrases at all.
I would also like to learn Korean because I am very intrigued by the culture, and the language itself to me is very interesting.
I chose these two languages because I am very passionate about learning languages and different cultures. The Japanese and Korean cultures happen to be my favorite for it completely different way of living from here.

I will be a beginner in both of the languages I want to learn. I want to learn Spanish for career advancement when I become a nurse. I want to learn Japanese because I want to take a long trip to Japan. I want to be able to teach my daughter who is two both of these languages. I will need help in all areas of the language, special help with conversations . I want to dedicate a couple of hours a week to learn the language. After traveling to Croatia I became very interested in learning to speak the language so that i am able to travel back to Croatia and throughout the Balkans with the ability to communicate more efficiently. I am considering finding a study abroad or work abroad program in order to spend a significant amount of time in Croatia. After spending a couple weeks there i fell in love with the people i met, the places i went to, and the beautiful coast line. The moment i left i was absolutely sure that i wanted Croatia to have a continuing place in my life. My proficiency level currently with the Croatian language is very beginner, i picked up a few phrases but would like to extend my ability to speak the language to an advanced level. I would like to dedicate a couple hours a week to lessons and am looking for a teacher who is passionate and willing to help me achieve my goal.
