I would like to learn the language for career advancement purposes and because I am Ethiopian and would use the language in conversation with family and friends.
Y our proficiency level (e.g., beginner, etc.).
I would consider myself a beginner. I can hear 80% of the language comfortably and only speak about 10% comfortably.
The areas in which you feel you need particular improvement (e.g., grammar, conversation, etc.), if any.
Convers ation is my primary focus and I would gradually learn how to read and write.
How much time you want to dedicate to your language lessons.
I would like to dedicate as much time as necessary to learn the language. I do work full-time but I am flexible.
What qualities you are looking for in your lessons or in your teacher.
I need someone who is consistent, able to correct me when I am wrong and push me to get over my fear of speaking in conversation.
