My husband's family speaks Mandarin and I would like to learn so I can communicate with them. I am a beginner. I would like to focus on learning spoken Mandarin rather than written Mandarin. I am looking for approximately 1-2 hours of tuition per week. I am looking for a teacher that is able to start at a simple level and provide lessons that are more than 'repeat after me' style. I am very keen to learn and am happy to join an existing langauge group.
