I wish to learn hebrew due to the fact that i have alot of Jewish friendsa nd i plan to travel to Israel in 12 months time. I am only at beginner level i know how to start a conversation and simple things but that is all. I cannot read or write i know some letters but not many. I wish to speak good hebrew within this 12 months time so i would like to know how much time the teacher thinks i should dedicate to achieve my goal. I am looking for a Hebrew teacher to assist my children, ages 12, 12 and 9, in preparing for their bar mitzvahs. They have had some formal training but it has been a few years. We do not belong to any temple at the present time and are looking for private lessons to begin once a week, preferably Sundays, starting in Sept. or October. My twins turn 13 in June and would like for them to be prepared by then, if possible.

Hello my name is Connor. i am 28 years of age.I wish to start learning hebrew as i have lived in israel before and had started learning hebrew,but had to give it up because of work priorities. so i promised myself that i would get back into it because i like a chalenge.I am pretty much starting from scrach, but i have some work sheets from my previous class so i can be working from them in the mean time.I would like to deacate at least 2 nights a week for lessons.

I recently made Aliyah to Israel from NY and I need help with my Hebrew ;) Conversationa lly I am at a level Bet or Bet plus. My vocabulary is not that great and my reading and writing is pretty terrible. I would like to take private hebrew lessons after work 2 times a week. I prefer private lessons because in an Ulpan I tend not to concentrate so much. I want to be forced to speak Hebrew (i've been here a year already and i'm never forced unfortunately ).
