I wish to learn Thai. I have a long-term Thai girlfriend, and my long-term plans involve living in Thailand.
CD's are fine, books are difficult, and learning Thai over the phone from Thailand is at the mercy of the quality of the phone connection.
I can speak some basic Thai, probably enough to be generally understood as a tourist, but am looking to expand my vocabulary and conversationa l Thai language.
