I have attained a Start Deutsch 1 in Goethe Institut in 2008. Eversince, I have been learning German on my own from reading german grammar books and DeutschWelle podcasts to keep my listening skills. I seldom communicate because I can't find anyone yet to do so. I am fond of languages although I am not strong in the field.
The reason why I chose German is the language associate closely with Music and that's what I want to major. I would prefer to focus on grammar mostly and conversationa l german occasionally. I believe that a student learn most after lesson so an hour lesson will be good, unless specific targets need to be met.

I am interested in learning German to be able to communicate with people when I travel to the country. My partner is German (but he is not a great teacher) so I would like to begin my learning with a German tutor/teacher . We will be travelling to Germany each year or two so that we can visit my partner's family and perhaps live over there once I am proficient in German.
