I would like to continue learning dari for my own personal interest in the language and for use in my career. I will be entering an international health program in public health and would like to work in Afghanistan and neighboring countries. I am a beginner and have learned the basics of reading and writing. I would like to focus on increasing my vocabulary (field specific), my conversationa l dari, and, of course, my grammar. I am interested in meeting 2-4 times a week with the tutor's schedule matches mine (I currently work full-time but am committed to focusing on the language). I look for a detail-orient ed teacher, an energetic teacher, a timely teacher, and a teacher who will push me to learn quickly yet effectively.

- I am a very new Beginner in Hindi, although I have taken some lessons before and therefore are familiar with the script and with some verbs and have a small vocabulary
- I am learning Hindi so that I may speak to my Indian family in their native tongue, specifically, so I may converse with my dadi-ji.
