I am a beginner. My husband is from Uganda and the predominate language there and in Kenya is Swahili so I wanted to learn it so that I can communicate when I visit. I am truly a beginner so I need to learn everything. I am thinking twice a month would be good. I am looking for a nice person who is patient!

I'm seeking online teaches because I think it would be in my best interest to go this route. I'm am will to put all my time into this goal learn this lanauges. I am a beginner in this field. I find it very difficult to obtain books in how to teach yourself swahili and other african lanauages in this particular area I'm in. I am a beginning level learner. I want to learn Swahili to be able to teach my daughter. We are from this country but we want her to learn a language from Africa. My daughter is two years old and we want to start now. We beleive the earlier she learns the language the better off she will be. We will need help in all areas of the language. We want to dedicate at least an hour a week to learn the language. We are looking for a teacher who is patient and willing to help teach a child learn the language as well.
