I have 2 boys, 9 and 7 who know a little farsi. We live in country Victoria but we are prepared to travel to Melbourne. Classes would have to be on Saturday mornings. Interested in conversation and reading and writing. Looking for a teacher who will make things fun for the boys. I would also like to join in the lessons if possible.

I would like to learn Afrikaans as I will be travelling and conversing with a native speaker of Afrikaans in late 2010 and I want to have a proficient level of Afrikaans under my belt.
Conv ersation and written Afrikaans are the areas I am most interested in.
I would like an 45 minutes to an hour lesson per week. I will dedicate time each day to my studies as follow up.
I am in my early thirties and open to all age tutors.

I am a beginner wanting to learn Afrikanns. I was born in South Africa, but do not speak the language. I want to learn Afrikaans for personal and professional reasons. I would like to be able to speak the language fluently. The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is patience and a straight forward way of learning. I would prefer to learn face to face but if that is not possible then I am open to alternatives, and in this case then someone that is able to relay the lesson easily.
