To whom it may concern
I am enquiring about receiving tutoring in learning to speak Burmese. I have no experience in speaking Burmese so am therefore a beginner.
Th e reason I wish to learn Burmese is I work voluntarily along the Thai/ Burma border with refugee and migrant women. their common language is primarily Burmese.
I would like to start out with one lesson a week, it will depend on how much it costs.
The qualities I am looking for in a teacher is patience, organisationa l skills and flexibility. My aim is to communicate not to write essays in Burmese so I would like a practical class that involves speaking.
