I am interesting to learn chinese as a 3th language. I am a ISM student and studied Basic Chinese last year. This year all the courses were full in ISM and I want to continue learning this fantastic language.

Hi Lucy,
Are you teaching any lessons to groups of students at present?
I 'm looking to learn Chinese Mandarin at a beginner level and just wanted to gage an idea of what was on offer and how much lessons would cost.
I just want to learn the basics- mainly conversationa l I guess- as I am looking at moving over to China within the next year.
I'm willing to dedicate a fair amount of time to the lessons- it's hard to put an exact estimate on things as it would depend on how long it took me to learn the basics!
Qu alities that I'm looking for would be patience, reasonable teaching skills and reasonable English as I know absolutely no Mandarin.

My ten year old daughter and I have taken about one year of Mandarin Chinese. We would like to continue studying for our own pleasure. We are beginners who are a bit rusty, since it's been two years since our last lesson. We would like to have a tutor for the two of us, preferably one who could meet us at our apartment clubhouse. We would also consider taking small group lessons with others if the meetings were close to home. We have studied oral and written Mandarin.
