I have been studying Irish for a semester now, and I am actually going to Oideas Gael in July for a one-week immersion class. Before I head off to Donegal, I was hoping to continue to work on my Irish through one-on-one classes with an Irish instructor. Just a bit more info about me: I am a PhD student in English Literature at the University of Connecticut, and I am learning Irish as part of my PhD requirements. Therefore while conversationa l Irish and pronunciation are important, I also must pass a written translation exam.

I am very interested in learning Vietnamese. My girlfriend is Vietnamese and her parents do not know how to speak English. I would really like to learn Vietnamese in order to speak with her parents.
I would also like to learn how to read & write in Vietnamese possibly. One of my favorite writers in Thich Nhat Hanh, so I would like to read his works in the original language.
