Dear Prospective Teacher,
I wish to become a fluent in the Spanish language. Not only would I like to be able to speak the language, but I also want to know the rules of grammar usage and mechanics of the language. I feel it would be benefical to my career pursuit. I would also be testing in a bi-lingual setting, and I also believe an oral proficiency test. I have a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. I prefer one-on-one teaching methods. I am certainly a beginner. I would like to meet at least once a week, and have a lot of homework between meetings. I am extremely serious in this pursuit, and will devote 110% to making my dream a reality.

I currently speak three languages English, Persian, and French. I would love to learn Spanish as a fourth language because it would create many opportunities for me in different aspects of my life. I have completed Spanish 10 level in high school. I would like to have private classes, maybe twice a week and I will put all my efforts to become fluent in Spanish. The qualities I look for in a teacher is someone who will challenge me and wants to teach me.

I am very interested in political science, international relations, sociology and peace studies. I believe that you can't be a good citizen of the world if you don't make the effort to actually get to know people from different cultures. I want to learn spanish because I think it's a wonderful language that is spoken in countries filled with happy people (I've had the chance to visit many countries in central america because I lived in Los Angeles for 10 years)
I am also passing the french baccalaureate at the end of the school year, with a spanish oral. I guess that it would help to take classes, although my main motif is really personal and to be comfortable in a third language.
I already speak spanish a little. I would say my level is intermediate. I am just weak in verb tenses.
I would like to have one hour a week of spanish lessons.
I would really enjoy having a teacher that would make this class fun. My spanish teacher as school is very formal and that is not what I am looking for. I want to speak the language and enjoy it. I want to discover cultures, listen to music, watch movies, talk and be excited for the hour of spanish every week! I think it's important to not have a wall between a student and a teacher. :)
