I am a beginner (one term at Alliance Francais St.Kilda)
I am learning French to be able to communicate with friends who are French and also I hope to visit France within the next couple of years
I would really like to be able to understand and speak French and join in a conversation. Also learn the grammer, but my main aim is to understand and speak it.
I am prepared to spend a lot of time learning it as I am not employed at the moment.
I would like the teacher to be able to explain things in English. To speak sentences and make me write them, and repeat them in French.

I am looking for a French language teacher for my 2 children aged 4 and 5. They have been exposed to a fair bit of the language already- the 5 year old spent 2 years at French-Austra lian pre-school in Canberra. I am looking for someone to teach them for at least an hour a week preferably in our home but not nessasarily. They are home schooled.

Im searching for a french teacher because they are hard to find even though 330 000 000 people speak it. I want to learn French because i will be living there for a month and maybe attending high school there. Im not exactly a beginner im pretty good at french its the verbs and tenses i have trouble with such as watch watched watching etc. Time is totally up to the teacher because it will be through email so what ever suits you.
