I am very interested in learning another language, specifically Urdu. I would like to start to learn this language now so when I travel in the future I could be properly prepared. Also, I would like to be able to communicate with a close friend of mine and their family from Pakistan. I am a beginner and would need improvement in most areas if anyone is up to the challenge. But I am very hard-working and would try to learn quick. I would dedicate however much time is needed into learning this language because i hope to be proficient one day. Patience is always a virtue in a teacher for me and I would like a teacher who would be as dedicated to teaching as I am to learning. I am a beginner, though I do have some learning experience - a long time ago. I would like to learn French to satisfy academic requirements for literature programs I am considering applying to, as well for my own personal growth. I can dedicate 20+ hours per week to my studies. I enjoy French films, food and music. My fiancee and I are learning Sanskrit because of our interest in Ayurveda. We are both beginners. I would like to start by spending 1 or 2 hours per week learning in private sessions preferably. I am looking for a tutor who is kind, patient, very experienced and affordable. I also prefer to meet our teacher before lessons begin to find out if we're a good match.

I am interesting in learning Mandarin to position myself properly for future business opportunities . Currently I am in the technology industry and I feel that with the changing global economy that having Mandarin as a second language will provide opportunities in the future. I would also like my Wife (35) and Son (3) to learn with me to keep things interactive at home, and also provide them with the same tools that I plan to acquire.
