I want to learn Mandarin because I will be living in Taiwan for a year, and I want to make the most of my experience. Also, I think Mandarin is a very important language that can get me far in a potential career in international affairs. I have never learned Mandarin before, so I need to start from scratch. I work full-time teaching in Jhubei (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) so I would like to have classes that work around this schedule (perhaps 2 evening classes during the week). I am looking for a teacher that is accommodating , friendly, and experienced. I want lessons that will help me learn Mandarin quickly and efficiently, and that give me tasks to complete outside of class so I keep learning.

A friend and I believe that chinese will benefit our futures in business, therefore we agreed that learning chinese at a younger age is ideal. We have already learned one language (spanish)and picked it up pretty well. We are quick learners, and are hungry for the experience.
