Hello,
I would like to spend some months in South America (in 2011) as well as in Latvia. My goal is to become a professional interpreter, I already know German (my mother tongue) English and French. Languages are my passion, as you might have already realized.
I have a bachelor's degree in Business and Management and I am currently working on an online translation diploma (IOL).
I would like to improve my understanding of Spanish and I would like to have the ability to talk about various subjects such as world news, ecology, sports, travel and culture. My level in Spanish would be advanced beginner maybe. I had Spanish in school for 3 years, so I've heard of most of the grammar rules, but I need to refresh them of course. I could take 1-2 lessons per week. I would like to take them preferably via skype or if this is not possible via the phone or msn.
Conce rning Latvian, I am a beginner, I have already immersed in grammar rules and vocabulary but since this language is not simple I still need to work a lot in order to be able to know the basics. I would like to take one lesson per week via the phone or skype.
I would like to add that I CANNOT PAY MORE THAN 15€ PER LESSON. :)

I will be traveling around Chile for two months starting in January and feel it would be a big advantage to have some conversation skills. Currently I speak no Spanish but am very eager to learn. My work schedule is five on five off so i would be hoping to get about three hours of lessons during my days off. I am hoping to start as soon as possible.

I would like to have lessons for myself and my four year old son. we have no experience with the language. learning for travel purposes and possible work opportunities . conversationa l spanish would be the most beneficial. I would like to have a weekly lesson and use the rest of the week to apply the lesson. the instructor would need to have successfully worked with willing adults and young children at the same time. be patient and understanding and may be willing to come to our home to tutor in house.

To be honest, I am learning Spanish because my girlfriend is Spanish. Well, Catalan actually. But I feel Spanish is a very good foundation for Catalan. And I want to go and be with her in Spain. Probably continue my MBA there, find a job, and hopefully settle down.
My background in Spanish is nada! If there is anyone lower than a beginner, that's me! But I am greatly self-motivate d and eager to learn. I love learning languages, and in fact already studied Italian, Latin, Chinese Mandarin. Soon, I'd love to learn Catalan! When I am relatively fluent in Spanish already!
I need to focus more on conversationa l skills. Grammar can come later on. At least that's my goal.
If I could devote 3x a week of face to face classes, aside from probably online lessons. That'll be awesome! But I wanna go on learning for about year if my budget allows. I plan to go to Spain next year August.
So meone young, preferably pretty of course to inspire me not to cut classes, fun to be with, can help me with Spanish even after class hours.
