I am currently perfectly speaking 3 languages- Russian (mother tongue), English and Hebrew. My french is not that good but it's progressing. Always was good in learning new languages and the most important thing is that I luv it. The 3 languages that I would like to approach next are Chinese, Spanish and Italian. Have passed the beginners course in Spanish,howev er Chinese and Italian would be completely new to me.
I would like to start learning from august and to dedicate quit big amount of time to it (approximatel y 4 hours a week for each language). I am very motivated and a fast learner, and as soon as I get the basics-thing run. So I am looking for a teacher who would be able to provide a good basic knowledge of the language from the beginning and then could really build up the level and eventually bring it the closer to perfection that is possible.

I'm really interesting in chinese culture and language. I can teach italian both to chinese children and adults. My efforts tend to stimulate students curiosity, even through use of italian music and cinema.

For many years, I have been interested in the complexity and beauty of the Mandarin language. I wish to learn so that I will be able to study and vacation in China in the distant future. I have heard from many people that Mandarin is one of the hardest languages to learn, and I love the challenge. I hope that I will be able to have one-on-one studying with my tutor, so that I can grasp the language as well as possible. I am currently studying at the University of Ottawa- which makes for the perfect study enviornment.
