My longtime boyfriend & his mother are both from Russia. I would like to speak with them in their language instead of English. Besides that, I am also just interested in learning another language. I'm a beginner with no training whatsoever. I am willing to dedicate a large amount of time, but in the evening. I'm going to UCLA, so I would have to take the classes at night.

I have been learning French for 3 years, and Spanish since I was born. I am going to be a sophomore in college and took Beginning French my first semester. I recently decided to change my language requirement to Italian. I have been to Italy three times and loved it so much. I plan on doing field work for my anthropology major in Italy. I know most of the basic commands but wish to learn more. I hope to learn as much as I can during this Summer, seeing as how I have to go back to school (in Virginia). I am free most weekdays, and weekends during the day. I want a teacher who can make learning Italian fun and interesting. Not just repetition and memorization.

Ca va? I have some French background from High School and College. I am contacting you because I will be taking the Test D'evaluation de Francais on September 25th, 2009, and I need to be prepared for it. I am a quick learner and consider myself to be fairly good with languages (I am a native Spanish speaker and fluent in English). I would like to meet with you to assess what would be the best course of study to prepare for this test? Do you think that once a week will be enough?
