Hello,
I am a 50 year-old part-time library clerk who has discovered the wonderful world of Indian cinema. I would like to learn the Hindi language so that I can enjoy these great films without having to endure the tedious, and I fear abbreviated subtitles.
Obviously, I would be a total beginner so would require a teacher with a great deal of patience and the ability to provide lessons for the next few years.
I would like to take private lessons, but would be willing to join a small class, also. If at all possible, I would like to remain around the South St. Louis area.
I believe that I could devote at least 30 minutes a day (perhaps 1 hour) to my studies.
Hopefully, there is someone out there who will be willing to pass on their knowledge of this most beautiful language.

I am the Human Resource Specialist for the Foreign Language Training Center on Fort Lewis in Washington State.
We are looking for five native or fluent speakers in Hebrew to develop familiarizati on courses and web based lessons to learn the Hebrew language. The developed course is a transliterati on to help introduce the soldier/stude nt to not only the language but geography, daily activities, customs and cultural traditions. It includes an audio voicing project as well to produce a CD that compliments the lessons. In addition, the developed web based lessons can be used by anyone including universities and colleges.
In addition, once trained, the part time opportunity can be done from home. The pay is at $29.50 per hour and each project is worth a set amount of hours. The pay is paid on an hourly basis not to exceed 40 hours per week and upon approval by the customer.
