I am a beginner and would love to learn the language. I am learning this language to better my knowledge on their culture. I am minoring in REligious studies and I am really interested in Islam. I need to learn the language. I know very little. I know some of the religious terms. I would like to dedicate one-two hours everyother day. I want the teacher to be able to speak the language fluently, but also be able to speak English and break the language down.

I am a mature PhD student and need to learn Arabic fast for research and future career purposes. Therefore I am interested in an intensive or a crash course, either in a group or privately.
Although my name sounds Arabic, I do not speak Arabic; I am a beginner.
Ideally the tuition would focus on the spoken language (Syrian, Kuwaiti and Iraqi) as I shall have to travel to the Middle East and meet people there. However, grammar, reading and writing, as well as some cultural aspects should be integrated.
