I badly want to learn Mandarin because I know that it is an advantage for my career (Bachelor of Science in Hotel, Restaurant and Institution Management). I took Mandarin Lessons before at Chang Kai Shek (summer of 2008). I didn't get to finish the short course due to classes starting very early (College). I know VERY little chinese because we have Chinese blood. My grandmother is pure chinese. I feel that i have to really start as a beginner for me to grasp the entire Mandarin language completely. I am a fresh graduate so i have all the time possible to study.

I am looking for a live, in person, tutor for my three children. My youngest is a beginner but a very fast learner. He has about 6 months under his belt and is loving the language. I have been told that my older two are a little beyond the beginner stage but I do not know for sure. I would love them to learn coversational Mandarin and the proper grammar, etc. I am looking for a private session for the three of them to partake in on Monday afternoons from 5-6 if possible. They do attend a Chinese school on Sundays so that they do not go too long without hearing the language. I am looking for a personal, child friendly tutor who is willing to have fun with my kids while teaching them this important language. Worksheets/bo oks, games, etc. or always welcomed.

I am learning Japanese (Level 3) although I have pass my JLPT Level 3 back in 2003 when I used to stay in Japan for a year in the Exchange program. I want to study up to Level 1 JLPT so that I could take translator certs. I also like to take Mandarin, Cantonese for my career advancement and for the sake talking to my friends. The areas that I need to learn are mostly all of it and I would like to spent 2 hours on weekends and an hour for weekdays (selected day). I would prefer a native Japanese speaker by Japanese to teach me Japanese and Mandarin from a Mandarin native speaker as well as Cantonese. I would not prefer others to teach me if they are not Native because It will be hard for me to implement the language inside me.
