I was hoping that you may be able to assist me, I’m looking to learn the language of French and I’m finding it difficult to source a good tutor that will be able to take me through the fundamentals to the level of speaking and writing the language proficiently. I reside in Aberdeen, Scotland.

I am 15 years old and am going to finland in the summer of next year to work for a month, then again in 2006 for just over a year. I currently speak no finnish at all and need to learn before i go and work. I am very serious about this and am therefroe willing to put around 2 hours each evening into learning finnish. I am looking for a teacher who will be as willing to teach me as i am to learn.

Having spent a gap year in Hong Kong I decided that I wanted to continue my interest in China by learning Mandarin at university. I am planning to spend a years study at the Shanghai Teacher's University next year. I would like to spend this easter holiday practising my spoken Chinese and preferably attending a week long study course.
