I will be working in Japan and planning to go there in August 2008. Have zero knowledge in Japanese language and need to learn as much as possible within these 3 months. I am willing to spend time over the weekend to attend classes, either as group or individual.

I've been studying the Japanese language in a language school for a few years now. But I am still unable to understand most of what my Japanese friends are speaking when they speak amongst themselves. My interest is in being able to enjoy a casual everyday conversation with my Japanese friends. And so, as such, I would like to have private lessons, where the teacher and myself sits down and chat about various topics in everyday informal Japanese instead of using textbook Japanese.

Hello, I am a beginner in Japanese with basic knowledge of hiragana and katakana. I am learning Japanese as I like to learn languages and would like to discover Japanese more. Preferably, I'd like to have a tutor which can teach me in the evenings, one-to-one, as I would like to be proficient in Japanese as soon as possible.
I hope to engage a Japanese native speaker teacher who can lead me to a better understanding of conversing like a native Japanese.
