I have taken 1 year of Chinese before while in college, but unfortunately have forgotten most of what I learned. I very badly want to go to China in 1-2 years to work and live there through a job with my current employer.
I'm a relative beginner, but this is a dream of mine and I'm willing to completely immerse myself in Chinese in order to make it happen. But, I need a tutor first to help me with grammar, and vocabulary, particularly for conversationa l skills.
Na tive speakers preferred, as I would like an education for actually living in China, as opposed to one for business or tourism.

I am looking to learn Arabic because i am early in the process of joining a non-violent activist organization that works in Palestinian occupied territory; I will need to communicate and hold basic conversations with the people there as I plan to live in the area for at least 4 weeks.
I am a beginner with very little ability in the language. I would like to dedicate at least 8 hours per week to formal language lessons and more time for private study; I would like to be able to speak and read arabic within 6 months and I am looking for a challenging instructor who will vigorously train me in the language to reach that goal.
