I would like to learn Mandarin as we now conduct our business in China (Shanghai). Although some of the staff are English speaking I think it would be beneficial for me to learn to speak Manadarin.
I am definitley a beginer. I have privvy to a few words.
I need help with Grammar and conversation
Based on the teachers advise and considering my current work load a would like to look at between 3 - 4 hours per week
I would be looking for a teacher who is fluent in Mandarin, who has effective teaching tecniques.
I do speak fluent Greek and some Spanish. I have a keen ear for languages, Chinese however is a liitle different to the latin based languages.

I am studying Chinese. I want to be a translator as well as study martial arts in China. I've had Chinese lessons before in highschool and I have some Chinese friends but I want to gain more profenciency in it. I feel my biggest area of improvement I need to work on is my writting. I'd like to dedicate at least one day a week to learning Chinese. I'd like my teacher to be open minded and learn from me as much as I learn from them.

Hello, my name is Myrthe and I am a second year student Chinese language. I am looking for someone who can help me to improve my Chinese.
* The reason that I am learning Chinese is because I am interested in foreign cultures and especially in Chinese because of its beautiful characters and challenging pronounciatio n.
* Since I am a second year student my level is intermediate I think. This year, we started to use a business Chinese book.
* I feel I need particular improvement in grammar and pronounciatio n. In class I feel that I don't get enough personal help to improve my speaking skills.
* I would like to take classes every week for 1 or 2 hours. I prefer to take classes in the evenings or weekends, because I am traveling a lot during the week.
* I am looking for a native Chinese teacher, who can help me to improve my pronounciatio n. I would also like to practise every day conversations and the dialogues of my textbook.
