I am a complete beginner, looking to take private Russian lessons. I was raised biligually (Hungarian, and English) speak Italian and French fluently, and German as a beginner. As such, I should be a fairly quick study.
I am looking to dedicate one-two hours in class with an instructor, and as much as necessary outside of class on a weekly basis. My goal is to become proficient in business and conversationa l Russian as quickly as possible.

I've only just begun to listen to Portuguese on CD. My interests are purely novel. I'd like to visit Brazil and Portuagal and be able to converse on a moderate level.
I have no time constraints but would like to be put to the test, be given assignments and such, as this motivates me to learn.
I'd like a teacher who not only speaks Portuguese, but who is also familar with those Portuguese speaking lands.

I would like to learn to speak Cantonese. I have no experience in the language, unfortunately . My boyfriend is Cantonese, and his parents speak little English. I would like to be able to communicate with them more fluidly. We are also going to Hong Kong in a few months to spend time with his family and I would like to be able to speak at least a little of the language. I am a little busy, but can squeeze in lessons on weeknights or weekends and between my boyfriend and his parents am actually surrounded by the language several times a week.
