I am a beginner in Chinese, Mandarin. I have studied for a semester at university and have some basic conversationa l skills.
I want to learn another language or two for career opportunities in the future and travel purposes as well.
I feel like I need to work on my tones, grammar and fluency the most.
I would like to do at least 5 hours a week of practical in order to become really proficient in the language.
I am looking for a teacher who will be able to push me to my limits and help identify my weaknesses and show me how to improve on them. A teacher who will teach me in the most practical way possible so I can apply what I learn in real life situations.

I so far have absolute minimal knowledge about the German language, so yeah, Beginner.
I want to learn German purely out of personal interest, because it seems a type of language and culture i would be interested in.
I am looking to devote a large amount of time to learning german, mostly when i'm back at University in Febuary 2009
Possibl y more than one lesson per week, and couple or few hours a day personal study.

I'm a 34 year old swiss english studend and I've been here in perth for 8 weeks to solve the camebridge first certificate. Now the last 4 weeks has begun and I would like to have a little more personal support. I thought about 2 hours a week for asking questions correcting writings and work out some own documents. speaking and pronounciatio n would be a topic as well. quasi english support for personal demands.
