Vacationing in Poland and Germany a few months from now I would like to learn conversationa l Polish to help with essential travel arrangements. i.e. Train, Hotel, Pension, Car rental, Reservations and Dining, etc.
I can get by in Germany but will struggle in Poland. This trip will include Slupsk-Lebork for genealogy research and south to Krakow before moving on to Germany.
A western suburban conversationa l Polish course would be best.

Polish . All relatives who spoke have past on. No one to talk
too in Polish therefore I have lost the ability to comunicate
i n Polish. I have tried on my own but only learned grammer.

I am a beginner wanting to learn Polish. I am learning to interact with Polish people in Chicago and to maybe go to college in Poland and then live in Poland. I would like to be able to speak it and understand it before learning how to write and read. I will spend as much time needed to learn how to speak it and understand as quickly as possible. I am a beginner. I want to learn the language for personal reasons.
W ith my future Polish teacher/tutor I actually would like to cover all language skills: Speaking, comprehension , reading, writing but I want my teacher to emphasize on Phonetics. The sound system in Polish is very new to me.
I like a mix of traditional method with a big chunk of communicative approach.
I will completely engage in my learning as I would like to reach the high intermediate level (be able to sustain a basic conversation) . I already know the textbook I would like to use.
I finally expect my teacher to be very serious, engaged in my learning as much as I am, meaning for instance, that the class should be prepared.
