I grew up in the US but am a Gujrati. I can understand but my speaking ability is very poor. I'd like to learn the basic grammer, how to read and write, and substantially improve my speaking ability.
I 'd like to spend 1-2 hours/week in one on one classes with a private teacher or in group classes if they exist. I work from 9-6pm during the week in Fort Lee, NJ and live in Manhattan. As I drive to work I could easily meet a teacher in New Jersey after work during the week or in Manhattan at my apartment or another location.
I'd like the teacher to have substantial experience teaching Gujrati grammer and reading/writi ng.

I will be a beginner to the Finnish language. My sister-in-law is a native of Finland, and it is my goal to become proficient, if not fluent, in the language. I would like to spend a few hours a week learning, but my time is slightly limited due to my other college courses that I am enrolled in. I am a student at St. John's University in Staten Island, but would like to take the courses in the city. I would like to have a teacher who will push me to learn quickly, and effectively, while being able to help me understand what im saying, not just know what to say if someone says ______.

I am a beginning Thai language student, looking to gain proficiency in order to possibly move to Bangkok next year. I've tried to teach myself a few basic phrases and have visited Bangkok once, but I really need more formal, one-on-one instruction.
I guess that conversationa l skills are my top priority, but I'd also like to learn the written language and reading skills as well.
I am willing to devote as much time as needed for lessons, within a reasonable price range, but certainly once or twice a week for private lessons.
I would hope for a native Thai speaker with the Bangkok dialect and fluent in english.
