I desire to learn Amharic because I've been lead through spiritual practices to have a better understanding of the works of the Bible. Since living in rural town all my life I have only been exposed to the knowledge that the continent of Africa has a Semitic language and a derivative that is still spoken today. On research, discovering that ancient churches are still erect but am sadden that there is no American based program that offers this knowledge without distortion. The admiration that has built for a new prospective to the Dispora has lead me to the heart of Ethiopia and I hope to one day travel there and speak with spiritual teachers. The best mode of learning would be via email,text chat, voice chat or video conferencing since I do not currently own a phone that would assist for learning Amharic. I appreciate a native speaker or any student willing to tutor.

I have 2 daughters that are 7 & 10, they have been attending a Spanish immersion school for 3 & 5 years respectively. The 10 year old speaks very well and the 7 year old understands most things. We would be looking for someone to come in 2-3 times per week to speak with them, help them with homework and do fun activities with them for an hour & 1/2 each time. We will only accept a female tutor.
