I'm learning Chinese because it is the most spoken language in the world, and since I plan to go into international politics it will be a very useful language to know. I'm currently in my fourth year of Chinese study and I am willing to dedicate as much time as needed to become proficient in this language. I need particular help in grammar and tones. I would like my teacher to be an experienced native speaker, but with a firm grasp of English. Unfortunately , I've missed quite a bit of school due to illness, and I will need help catching up in the next three weeks, to be finished in time for graduation.

I want to learn Chinese (Mandarin) in order to become proficient in the language and eventually become a translator and/or interpretor. I have no previous knowledge of the language but am fluent in English. I would be able to dedicate weekends for the learnign of the langauage.
