I want to learn how to speak and understand the language Chinese, Mandarin so I will be able to have an edge or should I say an extra point from the other applicants when I apply for work in the near future after I graduate college. I'm a beginner and has no knowledge about the language but I'm very willing and eager to learn. I don't have an idea for how long the lessons will be but I'm willing to be enrolled 'til I really have already learned how to speak the language. I prefer a teacher who does not waste time in teaching and teaches in a way that a student will learn faster but still very keen. I want a teacher who can speak fluent english or better yet Filipino.

I am very much interested in learning Chinese (Mandarin) because I find it to be a very beautiful language.
Although I've tried to pick up some basic phrases in chinese, I am very much a beginner but would like to put forth the effort to overcome that.
I am looking to dedicate at least 2 to 3 hours a week to this language because anymore than that I feel would be counterproduc tive.
I am would like a teacher that is patient, flexible, and passionate about the language they are teaching.
