I am currently a full time student at the university of florida majoring in philosophy and going into my senior year. I am home in tampa for the summer and would like begin learning foreign languages. I am a highly intelligent student looking to expand my knowledge, I love learning! My proficiency level is intermediate, I was raised in a home were Spanish was spoken occasionally, but was never taught to speak the language. So I guess I understande a lot more than I speak. I am learning spanish for two reasons. One, to help out my career. Two, to pass down my culture to my children one day, which is very important to me. I feel I need improvement in all areas of the language, in particular conversation. I am willing to dedicate a good chunk of my schedule in order to progress rapidly, as much as 3 times per week, it's something I've been putting off fot too long and I am motivated to begin the journey.
